Guided horseback rides in the high country above Moab, Utah!

P1060036

Guided horseback rides Moab, Utah!
Ride the La Sal Mountains, ancient remains of volcanic action reaching high above the red rock desert below. Our basic ride starts in the cool temperatures of 8,000 feet and climbs steadily to a high prominence, offering unexpected views overlooking hundreds of miles including Canyonlands and Arches National parks.

We can tailor a custom equestrian experience to your skill and comfort level and are ready to help you learn the basics of horse care and ground work or master advanced riding skills with emphasis on cross country and mountain terrain.

Our specialty is close contact with one or two clients at a time. This allows us to give enhanced personal attention to our guests. Larger groups or alternate sites may be possible through special arrangement. Please feel free to contact us for options and details.

Basic Skills

Beginners welcome! Come early, meet the horses, learn to groom, tack, and ground handle. We'll show you the needed basics to get you in the saddle.

Mountain Air

It's cooler in the hills! Come on up, we start at 8,000 feet and some rides climb to 11,000 feet. On the average, the air is 15 to 20 degrees cooler than the valley.

Elevated View

From high on the La Sal Mountains, overlooking Moab Rim, Canyonlands, and Arches National Parks, stretches a vista from Arizona to Northern Utah

Small Group

Our specialty is the personal ride, taking one or two clients with or without prior reservation. We are happy to schedule a ride for larger groups with prior planning.
